You can give your AI Phone Assistant the ability to switch between languages on calls - perfect if you have a diverse customer base or if you operate internationally.
The best bit? You get a translation of the transcript back into English, and your summaries, actions, lead scoring, etc. are all available in English as usual.
We don't enable this by default and don't recommend that one assistant supports more than 3-4 languages at the same time because this can slightly slow down the assistant's response time. You should only enable this feature if your callers will genuinely use it.
To enable this from your dashboard click "Request Additional Languages" on the Ellipsis Menu (three dots) beside your assistant.
Supported languages: English, Arabic, Bulgarian, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Filipino, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Tamil, Turkish, Ukrainian & Vietnamese.
Irish (Gaelic) is not currently supported but we are working with our service providers to try and include this in a future release.
Where do I go to request multi-language support?
From your Dashboard, locate the assistant that you wish to edit (most people only have one, but we support multiple assistants) and click View More on the Control Panel. Once this expands, click Add Multi-Language.
We aim to set up your requested language(s) within 2 business days.
