You can embed your assistant into your own website to service your customers using a different channel to phone. This uses the same assistant that you manage and configure and doesn't require a new set of rules or data. Usage for embedded web chat bots is calculated on a per second basis (for audio and text) and is charged in the same way as phone calls.

Where do I go to request the chat bot?

From your Dashboard, locate the assistant that you wish to edit (most people only have one, but we support multiple assistants) and click the Control Panel (this is the button with the three dots, sometimes called an ellipsis menu). From there click Add Chat bot to your website.

You will then select some configurations:

  • What capabilities do you want your web chat bot to have? Select Audio only or Text and Audio

  • What is the website that you will host the web chat bot on?

  • Where should the chat bot align on the page? (bottom right is most common)

  • Main Label (defaults to 24/7 AI Call Support)

  • Start Call Text (defaults to Call now from within your browser)

  • Optional: Primary Colour (Hex Code) (this is your brand's main colour)

Then click Submit.

How do I add the widget to my website?

Once we configure this for you, we will send you a snippet of code that looks like this which you will need to paste into your website editor.

<elevenlabs-convai agent-id="agent_12345"></elevenlabs-convai><script src="https://unpkg.com/@elevenlabs/convai-widget-embed" async type="text/javascript"></script>

It is important to know that enabling a chat bot on your website means that you will no longer be able to make free web-based test calls from within the Bot Bureau dashboard. All free test calls will need to come from your registered mobile number instead.
