How do test calls work?

Before you start your subscription, test calls are made through an in-browser call widget. From your Dashboard, locate the assistant that you wish to test (most people only have one, but we support multiple assistants) and click the pink Test Call button.

On the Test Call page, locate the widget on the bottom right of the screen. The text and colours might look different, but it will say something like "Call our Irish AI Assistant 24/7".

Clicking this will open up a voice chat widget. You need to click the phone icon on this widget to start the call.

Once you subscribe you will receive a phone number that connects to your assistant which you will use with your callers. You can register your mobile number, and any calls between your mobile number and your assistant are treated as test calls.

It is important to know that if you enable the chat bot on your website, this means that you will no longer be able to make free in-browser test calls. All free test calls will need to come from your registered mobile number instead.

Are test calls charged?

No. Test calls are always free. They do not come off your monthly allowance.
